Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini Would Like Us to Dress Up In Attico
Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini have been working secretly to launch Attico,
which debuted during Milan’s Fashion
Week. In keeping with the label’s
name, which means 'penthouse' in Italian, the seasonless collection has a
relaxed, loungy, and a je ne sais quoi feel.
Rebirthing
the traditional kimono through a feminine serene silhouette and playing
with different hues of velvet and silk, the initial idea of the
collection was to bring robes to the street, making them cool again. Wanting to reinvent ornate embroiders
from interior design and vintage furniture pieces, the brand pays close
attention to it's artisanal detail with each piece being an embodiment
for a different women from a different city with modern muses and
nostalgic cigarette taste. Using Instagram as their visual mood board,
Attico quickly and undoubtedly became the new 'it' label in a few days! With the hashtag
#JoinUsUpstairs, who wouldn't be intrigued?
