ALEX & CHLOE have been making jewelry since they met in 2004 and ignited each other’s love for all things natural and innovative. The couple’s alchemy of translucent acrylics, precious metals and originality rapidly secured them a dedicated global fashion following since their debut collection “SHADOW AND LIGHT.” Most importantly, though, the pieces are wearable, with their bold angles and modern palettes complementing ordinary or contemporary couture.

Alex & Chloe create unique accessories and clothing that merge the appreciation for couture with a contemporary, minimal aesthetic.

F:How old is Alex & Chloe??

A&C:We started our accessories collection in early 2004…

F:Where are Alex & Chloe based out of?

A&C:We are currently based in the Los Angeles area.

F:How are the designers behind Alex & Chloe?

A&C:We like to keep everyone guessing who Alex & Chloe actually are – we love the mystery - the mystery is part of the fun!

F:What kind of stores carry your line?

A&C:We believe stores and boutiques with a strong sense of design tend to pick up our collections. 

F:What influenced you to go into designing jewelry and how did you get started with Alex and Chloe? 
A&C:We're inspired by so many things - magazines, movies, music, fashion, people, cultures, television - if we see or hear of something that catches our interest, we do a bit of research, collect more images and information and design pieces that reference our current interests.

F:Who wears Alex and Chloe? 
A&C:We definitely try to design everything to be wearable by all guys and girls - there are definitely some more 'masculine' or 'feminine' pieces but we love mixing it up.

 

F:What materials are used in your jewelry? 
A&C:We started with acrylic pieces at first, and then we went into metals like Sterling and Oxidized Sterling Silver, 14k Gold, and now Inverted White and Black Diamonds. 

F:What makes Alex and Chloe unique from other jewelry designers?  
A&C:Our goal is just to make beautiful objects.  And we love designing pieces with a bit of humour! We think creating things with a touch of humour is very important!

F:What does the future hold for Alex and Chloe? 
A&C:We’re working on new tees at the moment and hope to release a line of fragrances as well as leather goods in the near future.
