"It's rock-meets-chic couture." That's how Val Garland, renowned makeup artist, summed up the look at Giambattista Valli's Couture show. Bows, black goth yet romantic veils paired with meters and meters of the most luxurious fabrics elevated the couture looks to cloud highs of modernity... Even Chanel, after introducing trainers last season, now gave us the beanie/veil combination. Now you can wear your beanie with your couture, even though Mary-Kate Olsen wore it ages ago, in 2007 to be precise, but at Chanel we have to say that it's fresh, well sort of! Hair can impact a look, it can make you or break you. If you have the balls to wear a veil to dinner, DO IT!
