Sienna Miller Joins The Towel Club

Photographer Mario Testino wished Sienna Miller a happy birthday by sharing his 59th Towel Series. Sienna wears a crisp white bath robe and a matching towel around her hair and flashing a genuine smile in this soon-to-be iconic black and white photo. 

Mario's Towel Series, marries the best of both worlds. "When I first began using Instagram, I was at a shoot with Kate Moss and I saw her in her dressing room after a shower—she was in a robe and a towel on her head and I just decided to capture that moment and post it," says Testino, who had not planned to begin a series but kept on snapping away backstage at shoots.

Needless to say, it's a rather exclusive project. "The Towel Series is a private club," says Testino. About the styling of the pictures Mario says, "You can do anything you want—wear it however you want. I have always treasured this kind of freedom: it’s rare."
