Fatema Fardan is the first Emirati designer to present her collection at NYFW. Hosted by Julia Restoin Roitfeld and with music by The Misshapes, and styled by Haya Maraka, the shindig was fabulous. The collection however was... not bad! I liked it, the leather pieces were exceptionally well tailored. Nonetheless, Fardan got a less favorable review from Style Arabia. The critique was too harsh and not fair...at all.
